Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Snowline Autoglass ("Snowline," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

Service information: Your name, contact details, vehicle information (year/make/model/VIN), driver's licence number, and insurance details necessary to perform automotive glass services and file insurance claims on your behalf.

Website information: Standard analytics data (page views, referrer, device type) collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

We use information solely for the purpose for which it was provided: to perform services you've requested, to file insurance claims on your behalf with ICBC or other insurers, to invoice and collect payment, to provide warranty service, and to respond to your inquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Information sharing

We share information only with third parties necessary to perform services: ICBC and other insurers (for claim authorization and billing), glass distributors and manufacturers (for parts orders), and payment processors. We require these partners to protect your information consistent with applicable law.

Data retention

We retain service records for the period required for warranty service (lifetime workmanship warranty) and for legal and accounting compliance (typically 7 years for tax records). Older inactive contact information is purged regularly.

Your rights

Under BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction, and ask questions about how it's used. Contact us at info@snowlineauto.com for any privacy-related request.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information: encrypted communications with insurers, secure payment processing, and limited access to records by authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure; we promptly investigate and notify affected customers in the unlikely event of a breach.

Updates

We may update this policy periodically. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through our website.
