Common questions

Don't see your question? Give us a call. We're happy to walk you through your specific situation.

  • Do you handle ICBC claims for me?

Yes. As an ICBC Repair Network shop, we open the claim, get authorization, complete the work, and bill ICBC directly. You don't need to call ICBC. Bring your driver's licence and your vehicle.

  • Will my insurance premium go up if I file a glass claim?

No. Glass claims under ICBC Comprehensive coverage do not affect your claims-rated scale (the rate factor that determines your premium). They're treated separately from at-fault collision claims.

  • How long does a windshield replacement take?

60–90 minutes for the install, plus 60 minutes of urethane cure time. Vehicles with ADAS need an additional 45–60 minutes for calibration. Plan for 2–2.5 hours total for ADAS-equipped vehicles.

  • Do you offer mobile windshield replacement?

Yes, for most vehicles in Langley, Surrey, Cloverdale, Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Aldergrove, and Abbotsford. ADAS-equipped vehicles typically need a shop visit so we can calibrate after install.

  • Do you use OEM glass or aftermarket?

Both, depending on the vehicle and your preference. ICBC typically pays for high-quality aftermarket glass that meets OEM specifications. We use OEM glass on request and on certain vehicles where it's required.

  • What's the warranty?

Lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, on every install. Glass manufacturer warranties are passed through to you.

  • Can you work on my Tesla / Subaru EyeSight / Honda Sensing vehicle?

Yes. We do ADAS calibration in-house for Tesla, Subaru EyeSight, Honda Sensing, Toyota Safety Sense, Hyundai SmartSense, and most other modern ADAS systems. No third-party calibration appointments.

  • What if my windshield damage is in front of the steering wheel?

Damage in the driver's primary vision area typically requires replacement, not repair, because the resin used in repairs leaves a small visual artifact that ICBC and the BC Motor Vehicle Act don't allow in that zone.

  • Can I drive immediately after replacement?

Modern urethane adhesives have a Safe Drive Away Time (SDAT) of 60 minutes for most vehicles. We'll give you the specific SDAT for your vehicle before you leave.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, debit, all major credit cards, and direct ICBC billing. We can also work with private insurers including BCAA, TAG Network, and Family Insurance.

  • Do you service commercial fleets?

Yes. We service commercial fleets across the Lower Mainland with priority scheduling, mobile service to your yard, and simplified billing. Contact us with your fleet size for custom pricing.

  • What if I have a leased vehicle?

ICBC Comprehensive applies regardless of ownership. If your lease specifies OEM glass, let us know and we'll use OEM with a small upcharge depending on your coverage.
