Who we are
Snowline started with a simple frustration: getting a windshield replaced shouldn't feel like a runaround. ICBC paperwork should be our problem, not yours. Same-day service shouldn't be a marketing promise that turns into a three-day wait. ADAS calibration should happen at the same shop that installs your glass, not a separate appointment somewhere else.
We built the shop we wanted to walk into. A clean waiting area with real coffee. A technician who can explain the difference between OEM and aftermarket glass without making you feel talked-down-to. An ICBC claim that gets opened, authorized, and closed without you ever speaking to ICBC. A printed warranty document you can actually understand.
What sets us apart
We're owner-operated. The person you talk to about your job is usually the person doing your job. No call-centre handoffs, no "let me check with the technician" loops, no disappearing service writers.
We do ADAS in-house. Most independent auto glass shops sub out calibration to a third party, which means a separate appointment, more time, more chances for something to go wrong. We calibrate every Honda Sensing, Toyota Safety Sense, Subaru EyeSight, and Tesla autopilot system right here, on the same appointment as the install.
We're an ICBC Repair Network shop. This is a specific authorization from ICBC, not just "we work with ICBC." Repair Network shops can open claims, get authorization, and bill ICBC directly without you ever calling. Most of our customers walk in, sign one document, and walk out with a fully-completed insurance claim they didn't have to manage.
We warranty our work for life. Every windshield, every chip repair, every door glass we install carries a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. Leaks, wind noise, install defects: bring it back, we fix it.
Where we work
Our shop is at 20691 Langley Bypass, Unit 102, about 15 minutes from most of Surrey, 10 minutes from Walnut Grove and Willoughby, and a manageable drive from Aldergrove and Abbotsford. We service the entire Lower Mainland with mobile installs. We carry our calibration kit on every mobile job. For ADAS-equipped vehicles, we calibrate on-site when conditions allow (level surface, adequate space and lighting). When the site isn't suitable, we complete the glass install at your location and finish calibration at the shop, one extra stop, not a separate booking.
Our values
We're conservative on safety, generous on time, and honest on quotes. We'd rather quote $400 and stick to it than quote $300 and surprise you with a $100 add-on at pickup. We'd rather schedule your job for tomorrow than promise today and then call you to reschedule. We'd rather tell you a chip is repairable and free under ICBC than push you toward a replacement that pays us more.
None of this is unusual for a small business. What's unusual is running it consistently, day after day, year after year, when the shortcuts would be easier and most customers would never know the difference. We chose the longer path. We think you can tell.
